Gretchen Bartek, Founder

Gretchen is the founder and CEO of Adelska. She comes from a corporate finance background but left it behind to follow her passion to thrive in an atmosphere where creativity and business minds collide.

She loves all of her jobs as wife, mom and relentless entrepreneur and literally dreams up ideas in her sleep. The name “Adelska” means “to love” and stems from her dual citizenship in the US and Iceland.

Gretchen’s mission is to cultivate new experiences that will give both her clients and event attendees the warm and fuzzies.

Nicki Escobedo, Head of Operations

With a strong corporate background, Nicki joined the Adelska team in 2022 to help bridge the gap between logistics and operations.

She comes at all projects with the end game in mind and thrives in ensuring transitions are smooth and efficient. Nicki thrives in building comradery and relationships with every facet of the project so everyone benefits.

Progression and avoiding complacency are her keys to success.

Janey Hawley, CMO

For over a decade, Janey has created all things branding and marketing for several high-end and large restaurant groups. She began her career in Oklahoma City as a Marketing Manager for a raw vegan restaurant concept. She later moved to California, where she perfected her sales skills as an event manager. Janey moved to Colorado in 2017 and has created content for several area clients. Her loyalty to customers and passion for their brands has built many lifelong partnerships and friendships.

Janey’s love for her work comes from meeting and exceeding her client’s marketing and branding. She likes to ski, hike, run with her dogs, and watch all the good shows in her free time.
